Lead Interventionist

Daksha Chabba, RBT

Daksha is one of Catalyst’s full time Lead Interventionists and Registered Behaviour Technicians (RBT) who works one to one with many clients in the Edmonton area. Daksha excels at creating meaningful opportunities for children on the spectrum and naturally engaging them.

Growing up in a country where she interacted with numerous children and adults on the spectrum or with mental challenges, Daksha developed a strong desire to make a difference. Her passion led her to pursue a degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology from Manipal University, India. These studies then introduced her to the practice of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Daksha’s first full-time role at an autism center in Kuwait deepened her love for this field, where she witnessed firsthand how ABA could transform lives. The joy of seeing a child achieve a milestone, whether it was their first word, playing with a sibling, or thriving in school, fuels her motivation to teach and support her clients every day.

Daksha’s long term career goal after certification is to advocate for a more inclusive mindset toward ABA in Alberta, helping families access life-changing support and empowering children to thrive in all aspects of life.
